Since I believe that puns are the only true form of humor, I thought I would initiate a contest to see if anyone can generate a true pun that makes me laugh. I would also like to engender a sense of urgency, so am limiting the "official" entries to the first ten puns posted.

There was once a person who sent ten puns to his friends, with the hope that at least one of the puns would make them laugh. no pun in ten did.
(OMG............. potential light bulb moment...........or not........... hope you weren't thnking of that as the puchline to this post.....if so so sorry......then it would be a real groaner)

You know how people say wing it? Back in the 80's, they said Wing er.
Computer games are your best friends. They never get bored or tired (except when they crash!) and they are always fun. Like Fate.

a person is angry with another guy, and tries to literally, "kick him into last week". instead, he kick him into the future. he become famous for it, and has enough money for the rest of his life, so he becomes a fortune teller. a person walks in, and says to him, "are you the sci-kick?"

About a month before my grandfather died we covered his back in goose grease .... He really went downhill fast after that...
So what if I can't spell Armiggedon ... it's not the end of the world... .. .. ..
