I don't get it.

I cancelled my membership because I had one month left on a 12 year contract and just wanted to get the $6.99 charge done and over with.

But now I have a wildcoin balance of 350 coins and I can't purchase any games with them.

Why?

It give me the options to play the games with deposit coins with each play, it gives me the option to purchase the game with cash, or it gives me the option to join with a membership but it requires me to purchase MORE coins in order to get a membership again.

I don't understand why I can't purchase games with my wildcoins as long as I have a balance of 350 coins left.

This is very frustrating.

Can I just have my membership/subscription back without having to purchase MORE coins to get it. I did not realize that cancelling my membership would take my wildcoin purchasing abilities away.

I assumed that as long as I had wildcoins in my account I would be able to continue to purchase games until they were gone. If I had known differently I would have never cancelled.

If you haven’t already done so, please contact our support team directly by clicking the HELP button at the top of the page. Your question requires us to access your account so we cannot address it in our forums. While you are correct, if you cancel your subscription you lose some of the benefits of our WildClub, I am confident our support team can help you.

I have the same problem as the thread starter. I cancel my wildcoin package purchase (the $6.99 for 50 wildcoin) when it reached the 12th month because I saw that I have a lot of unspend wildcoins. Now I want to purchase a game with the wildcoins I have in my account and it did not let me do so. If I know up front that I can not purchase game with my wildcoins then I would not have sign up for that 12 months and lose my $75. As a student, it is kinda hurt... Can you guys at least let the user buy the game with their coins after they cancel the subcription?

The only way to use your wildcoins to purchase a game is if you are in the WildClub.

However, you can play your favorite games with your wildcoins and when you decide to buy it the purchase price is reduced by the amount of wild coins you used to play it. I have paid $6.99 for a game after the deduction of the plays. :)

I ended up with 600 wildcoins because I accidentally got into the WildClub on that super saver pack. LOL I used my coins to play all kinds of games. Heck I still have a bunch to play with!

As I said use your coins to play the games you plan to buy and when you get ready to purchase the game, the price will be reduced by the coins you used. So basically you are using your wild coins to buy the games. :)

You can find out all about this at http://www.wildgames...q.aspx#benefits

If I play a game using WildCoins and want to buy it, do I get a discount?

Yes! When you spend WildCoins to play a game, your account keeps track of how many you've used on that game. If you then purchase the game for unlimited play, every coin you've spent is deducted from your final cost (down to a minimum game cost of $5.00). Each WildCoin earns you a $0.25 purchase credit towards owning the full game, so it's easy to rack up savings. To redeem, add that game to your shopping cart while logged into your WildCoins account, click the "buy" button and continue the checkout process. Your WildCoins purchase credit will be displayed during the last stage of checkout. If you have spent enough coins that the game would cost less than $5.00, you will see the $5.00 minimum game purchase cost listed.

Please note:

We cannot track spending of Offline WildCoins in order to apply them to game discounts. Therefore, offline coins do NOT count toward the purchase price of the game. Please keep this in mind if you decide to take coins offline!

Discounts from spending WildCoins cannot be combined with other offers (existing sales, bundles, etc).

I get what you are saying Faded Glory.

There are two problems to that though.

1. I am using wildcoins to play a game, but not purchase it. I don't want to waste my coins/money renting something for a short time period, when I use to be able to purchase the game with wildcoins and can play it as many times as I want forever.

2. You can only be credited for the purchase of a game by your wildcoins down to $5 cash at minimum. I could buy a game COMPLETELY with my wildcoins and NO cash before. Now wildcoins only gives me a partial credit, and at minimum $5 has to be cash. I want to be able to purchase a game completely with wildcoins, just as before.

So I will be contacting customer service and see what they can do to remedy this problem. If I would have been warned ahead of time that if I cancelled my membership my purchasing abilities would have been changed, I wouldn't have cancelled it. Plain and simple.

Well I for one feel this is nothing but a con to get you to buy more coins. It is sure not well advertised that you can not use the coins to buy games once your time of paying for coins is up. I signed up in the first place for my son because he wanted to buy a game. I clicked the cheapest option not really fully understanding I would have to buy coins for a YEAR. But that was my mistake, I should have read the options much better. However I did not realize this until a couple of days ago, and now it seems that as of 2 days ago I can no longer buy games just "rent" them. What a gip. I am not some one who wants to play a mindless game for an hour. If I am going to buy a game (Or pay to play it) I want to fully enjoy it, get my money worth. So unless I am willing to pay MORE on top of buying the coins when enough credits have been spent that I get the max discount to keep the game, or I have to keep paying to play the game. Which one game I started playing is 4 coins which equate to $1 each play.Virtual villagers you could EASILY play 4 or 5 times in a day at different times because it is not really a non stop action kind of game. Heck I would pay the game price in a day or 2 and everything after that is just "extra money" out the window. No way man. What a gip. I want my money back, you can have your "wild coins"

Your other option is to use the coins to buy the game. Even if you aren't in the club you will still get credit for the coins you have already used toward the purchase price. :)

It really isn't a con and it is the best deals out there.

Well that is my whole point, I can not use the coins to buy it. I CAN discount it using wildcoins but I still have to pay money. Plus the real kick in the rear is that after examining my account I still have 2 months left to pay for coins! I have contacted customer support but god knows how long it will take for a response. I still think it is a gip, but that is my opinion.

Did you get an email back with a 12 digit confirmation number? If not your email didn't go through. I have always gotten help within 24 hours of contacting Support.

Your purchase/wildcoin and forum accounts are all separate from the Support. You can not contact support through them. Click the Support tab at the top of the page and then click Email Support. Fill in all of the required info and you will get a window saying Log in or Create an Account. Opt for create an account. You can use the same details as you used for your purchase and forum accounts, you just have to make the new account.

As for the games you may want to buy, just use your coins to play it till you get it down to the lowest price. So technically you are still using your coins to buy the game.

By the way if you still have 2 months left on your contract then you should be able to purchase the game with the wild coins.

I have a simular situation. I just "signed up" for the 7 bucks a month thing but decided I didn't want it sooo I went in to cancel, log in no problem, go to my account, went to cancel but noticed I have to pay 76 bucks to cancel it....... I have played online games now for over 10 years and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I COULDN'T CANCEL BECAUSE I DIDN'T READ EVERY WORD IN THE CONTRACT OR GET CHARGED BECAUSE I WANTED TO CANCEL........ I feel like I just came from a shady carlot. I thought no problem at least I can email then for advise or to express my opinion so I go to the "help" page and click to email "support" and pow... just like the guy above it tells me I don't nave an account..... sheesh. I guess the hand written letter is the only way I can let them know that YES I DO HAVE AN ACCOUNT BECAUSE I WILL BE PAYING ON IT FOR THE NEXT YEAR. I have friends at work that saw me playing some of these games and they were all "wow thats cool" and "how did you get it" and when I tell them what happened to me they either laugh or shudder and walk away with no other questions. thanks alot

The problem is you DON'T have an account with Support. The account you use to purchase coins or games will not let you email support/customer service.
You got half way there though.

I go to the "help" page and click to email "support"

You fill in all the required info and when the window pops up telling you to log in or create an account, you didn't click "Create Account". You tried to enter your purchase account log in. This time create the acct. You can use the same username and password as you used for the purchase/wildcoin and forum accounts.

This really is the best game site on the web even if it is a bit confusing at times. ;)

I commend you on your composure Faded Glory and thanks for the response in the face of adversity but having to
create 3 accounts to contact customer service is BS. In all of my internet transactions when it comes to clicking agree it
was always clear how much I would be charged. There was always something in red making sure I understood there
was a chance of coming out with a knife in my back, not with this. If I had any idea I would have to be paying 76 flipping
dollars to close this account I dam sure wouldn't have clicked agree. So there is your trickery. I have been to auto title loan
companies that are known for having the most outrageous fees on the planet and I felt I was treated more fairly by them because
they let me know I was being screwed ahead of time. Yeah gee whiz the games are really neat and golly its the darndest
best deal on the web but nowhere else on the web did it ever make me eat bologna for a month to pay for a misleading
"good deal". It has been a learning experience and thanks for making feel like a total fool for clicking "agree". It has been
like feeding a starving man but not telling him the food will make him sick because well he didn't read the book first. Save
your fluffy responses please. If this really was a golly gee good deal you wouldn't have to keep saying that BS to so many
people that feel ripped off. The whole reason I even chose this route for games is because I can't really afford much else
for entertainment but hey, thanks for the new bill..... you bunch of......... grrr. Just the idea of this scam burns me up. I did
create yet another account I will never use again and contacted support, fingers are crossed but I feel pretty confident that
I will take it in the end and deal with another payment I found out I can't afford.

I too, got caught in the special $6.99 thing, which was my own fault because just like everyone else on here, I DID NOT READ THOROUGHLY before I agreed. You can not blame anyone else for your mistakes in life. I too canceled the subscription and was given the rest of the coins from the subscription and had to pay off the rest of the contract. I ended up with about 600 coins! (I had bought a couple of games already.) I was down to 23 until a few minutes ago when I went in and got the 400 coin pack.

It was a learning experience just as you said. Lawyers tell you all the time, NEVER sign anything until you have read it and understand what it says. ;) I am disabled on a fixed income, so I bet my money is tighter than yours since I haven't gotten a cost of living increase for the last 2 years. I am well acquainted with bologna and Ramen. :D

No fluffy responses here. The reason I have to keep saying the same thing to so many is because they don't READ anything before they jump in. I do not work here nor do I have any affiliation with WT. I am a customer just like you.

If it seems I am patient and composed it is because I have gotten that kind of response from the WT Support Team and the admins here on the forums. I have been a customer with WT for about 4 years now and the only problems I encountered were of my own making. LOL

I truly hope you get your situation settled to your satisfaction. WT really is the best bang for your buck for gaming.

What a lousy policy. I bought those coins , and now I can't use them to make a purchase? In other words unless I am continuously buying new coins, I cant use the ones I have accumulated? Have I got this right? Because it seems very unfair.
