Spock, I got to say, you are the best mod I've ever known.
I hope you mean 'moderator' and not 'model' mod. I'd be most upset if Spock were only the product of someone's imagination
So what if I can't spell Armiggedon ... it's not the end of the world... .. .. ..

No problem, I'm just glad I was able to help. Thank you btw for supplying a possible solution for others experiencing a similar problem.Mr. Spock,
Thank you for your gracious reply. ...(I never thought that I'd be saying that to 'anyone'), thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Live Long and Prosper!
Peace and Long Life.

Hmm, I have this bridge you might like to buy. It's now located in Arizona ...Yay! Spock's real.!!
Also, for your reading pleasure, I (the person behind the Username) am real with all that implies but the persona is for personal reasons, not to be mistaken with reality.

Naaah. It's an English bridge... you can keep it.
Plus, don't worry, I know it's just a persona. The real Spock won't be born for another two hundred years or so...
Also, I think you probably have a lot more patience with us all, than the real Spock would for which I say thankyou.

No need to crawl out of anything or lurk, we're all friends here and understand that a little gentle ribbing is OK. My problem is that, to keep in persona, I must respond to exactly what is said, not to what is meant. To make it worse, I must do it in a deadpan manner ...
The other day my wife asked me to put the kettle on (for a cup of tea). I told her I didn't think it would fit ...

...a little gentle ribbing is OK...
Please tell me if I get carried away sometimes, I would hate to think I were causing offence or hurting anyone's feelings. A sense of humour and being able to laugh at life's ironies is all that's kept me going sometimes. But I'm well aware that what I think is funny and what someone else does, aren't always the same... especially when writing!
Unfortunately, I have a mischievous, immature streak which sometimes gets the better of me...

...to keep in persona...
I'm pleased to report that your persona sometimes slips and the real you peeks through! This is a good thing and what makes both yourself and Faded Glory, not only great moderators but a joy to have as moderators (despite the way it sounds, that's not crawling but truth as I see it).
...The other day my wife asked me to put the kettle on (for a cup of tea). I told her I didn't think it would fit ...
I bet you got the same reaction that I did when my one of my step-kids asked what was on the telly. I said some photos and an ornament ...
Anyhow, as this has gone completely off topic and I don't want to get a warning for that ...

Bye for now!
(ps. Did you notice I found some cool smilies...

I sincerely hope not, too much responsibility. The occasional forum and/or website is more than enough for me.... seriously thinking that Spock is God

... When I tried to register it didn't like me ...
If you're talking about my forum, I have some rather stringent registration hoops a prospective member must jump through. There is a special code number without which I will never even know you tried to join and there are a couple of innocuous questions which, if answered wrong, will get your entry banned.
The "best" part though is "Purgatory". Every newly registered user is placed there where no one else can see their posts and they cannot see any of the rest of the forum, even less that the public can see. There are instructions listed in there which, if you are not a Spammer, will gain you access to the rest of the forum, almost half of which is hidden to the public.
Why such a hard time to gain entry? I used my forum to teach and walked my students through the entry process in class, so they had no trouble getting in. Spammers on the other hand, never make it past Purgatory ... if they even get that far.

Your forum sounds very Mission Impossible to get onto, I'll need to check it out properly. Maybe I can ninja my way in.
Edit: @Arach : Ha!ha!ha!ha! Still laughing at that

Vulcan is the Roman God of Fire and Volcanoes.
He's a half god!
Hmmm.... Half God, Half Elf...??
He's a GOLF, plus he used to teach, possibly 'Golf Courses'
(yeahhh... ok that was really lame, lol)
@F Glory : Ta much, I'll try that and hopefully be able to register this time (unless you've already warned them about me
