A new version of Fate: TS is now available for download. This build contains the fix for the missing heroic items in Typhon.

Simply reinstalling the game directly from the website will fix the issue. If you need help reinstalling, please contact our Support team by clicking the Help button at the top of the page.

**Please note, this did not impact the retail version of the game. If you purchased the disc, you do not need to reinstall the game.**

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT POINT not covered here is that this updated build will (for some silly reason) uninstall FTS before installing the new build! Which means REALMS folder--GONE! So if you were in the middle of making and testing a mod, it will be deleted!

Make sure you backup EVERYTHING you've modded BEFORE INSTALLING.

Saves are untouched.

(luckily I backed up...I know how these things go)

I'm curious about this, though my best friend and I haven't run across any of the issues that were fixed with this build.

But, does that mean, if we bought the game from a B&M retail store, this build doesn't need to be downloaded because the bugs that this fixes were fixed in the hard copy version?

yeah, yeah, but the old updates didn't delete your game, they just overwrote. I can imagine some modder going ape**** over their realms folder being deleted. As it is, backing up my 1.35gig realms folder was no trifle...ugh.

Hey Heron,

When I download FTS from the WildGames site it looks like it is downloading a file version of 284, which seems downstream from even the retail version I have. Is there some other place to get the updated/patched version?

Sorry guys for sounding so stupid but I have the retail version of FTS. On the load Menu at the bottom are the numbers 1.0.0444. I see were you've put "latest digital version is .459". Does the digital version apply to my retail version of the game. I've downloaded the update but am waiting to hear from one of you guys to go any further.
Also I downloaded the fate-gold mod for the combo Fate\FateUR game. Do I need to download it again & make sure it loads to the FTS folder.

Most players upgrade from .444 to .459 then unlock grove from editing the realms.dat so you can re-enter grove.

I was going to ask you Heron about editing the realms.dat file, what do I edit in that file to allow access to Grove? (I mean, what's the string or tag name (the name inside the brackets)?) Please let me know. I just don't want to download the Fate gold mod if I wiah to play Hardcore and I might do that sometime soon. Please reply me soon.

By the way, I already have the latest version (.459).

all you have to do is go to(just remeber this is from memory) realms/grove/realm/en-us/realm.dat it will say somting like
locked:the town of grove of hails you hero but u are needed else were
just take that hole line out make sure you have a portal medalion like the one to druantia or typhone and at least level 20 to us them to get back or ur stuck there
