What's the ultimate transformation for the Dog / Cat in FATE 1?

Please anyone. Answer my question before I morphs my dog.

That question is really up to personal preference. My suggestion, try them all. You can change your pet to any available creature that there are fish for. Find one you like and keep an extra fish of the proper type handy in case you try something you don't like.

I usually use the Gryphon (Flawless Ruffy) in Fur but haven't explored pets that much in Fts yet. Right now my pet is some kind of fire breathing horse which just happens to be from the last flawless fish I fed him.

Don't worry about waiting to morph him, even the fish that say they "permanently" morph just mean that they don't have a duration, you can still change him after that. They don't even change the base form, so if you morph him into something else then when the duration of the new form expires he'll be a dog again, not his previous "permanent" form. I always stash a spare flawless fish of my preferred type in case that happens.

My favorite was the abomination because it casts "slow." I think the brain beast debuffs too. I didn't like the ones which just fought or cast damage spells.

Thanks Pampl and Spock for answering my question as I've been waiting for an answer for 11 Hours since 10:22 PM, 24th Octomber 2009.

I already morphed my dog into Gryphon using "Flawless Ruffy" (Without using cheat). It took a week (Each day waiting 20 to 40 minutes) to get this unique and rare fish. I at times got other flawless fishes (Mostly Grouper).

I noticed that fishing is currently useful to unique Items mostly.

One of the things we learn early in a forum is patience. wink.gif Almost everyone who posts in here is just another game player like you. It may well be that many people will look at your post and not reply because they don't know the answer or aren't sure themselves, so rather than add a non-essential post, they wait for someone else to give 'correct' information.

Since that person may only visit the forum once a week or less, sometimes the wait might take a while. sad.gif

Why not save your next Flawless Ruffy and experiment with other fish too? There are many in here who swear by the Scorp Feline. Sorry, I don't recall which fish performs the transform.

A lot of hardcore players use fishing as an easy way to earn money to purchase their initial outfitting of equipment. Makes it easier to survive while building levels.

Spock, Your reply to after I've given my thanks to you for answering seems rude. Please don't do it again and think little of me. I'm 25 here.

I apologize if my reply seemed rude. I tend to try to avoid such as much as possible. I was simply responding to your post. I could say more on that but will refrain from the desire not to seem rude again.

BTW, I'm well over twice your age, not that it means anything. wink.gif

Well kids, I'm older than dirt and thought Spock was his usual helpful self. Never in all of his posts (and basically all posts I've read here in this forum) has he or anyone else in the know seemed at all anything less than kind and helpful. This entire forum is very professional - even when some of us whine a lot.
Regarding pets, venomous Wyverine is very good too, if not a bit noisy and flappy. wink.gif

I guess that makes us contemporaries then. My earliest memories are all dirt free, so I must also be "older than dirt" ...

OUCH!

Altough the venomous wyvern gives you better stats, for me the best is a vile tarantula, who can poison your enemies like a venomous wyvern, but also it can web your enemies. That's the one i have right now as my pet, does anyone have a better idea?

Well if your wanting the really nice stats and the spells then just feed your cat/dog or any pet u have after u transformed it into that a scorpfeline or venamous wyvern or griffon (U can do this with any transformation including with your normal pet). It seams that the pet can use any spell that u would be able to use. If u can use it meaning if your pet had 0 mana stats but u had 50 and a spell required lets say 40 your pet can still use it if u feed it to him/her witch ever u perfur. So u can hook up all kinds of spells to your pet just drag the spell to the feed pet spot and the pet will learn it.
