How do I get the gong piece out of the pond?

The sunken gong piece is obtained by making a special magic stew consisting of one of the black flowers near the waterfall and two of the large orange flowers to the south of the village. Have a villager eat the stew, and then drop them in the pool.

I just have to figure out the last piece of the gong.

One of your villagers has to have a totem to get the last gong piece and you have to have the ruins in the right bottom of the screen, restored. Just move your totem to the center of the Mosaic Floor and it will reveal the last piece.
