You cant have any number over fate's magic number (attack speed bonus in code).

you cant have 1,000,000,000,000,000 as the number for attack speed bonus... its too high so it won't work.

why would you want that much speed? mods should be balanced and creative.
if i want an easy button then make a spell with 99999999999999999999 damage.

use the <percentattackspeed>

the M&M mod has a set of guns, so i might incorporate those in the zombie mod.

I think a couple new models would be good, but man, this is a great idea heron! can't wait for this!
and if you want to use them, in my Zombies mod, there are 3 new zombies and 5 new mummies.

i haven't start but i would think the chunk of the work will be coloring the town to night.

the rest will be monsters.dat coding

yep perfect for halloween.

zombies will move slow but they will have a ton of health and armor.
all will inflict poison damage.

we will have a few special zombies that will inflict electric and fire damage.

also, they will spawn in packs with the <minion> tag.

that's a great idea, the different types!
but where will they spawn? at the outside edge of grove?

in the dungeon of course.
i might use the cabin tile set from j3st3r.
shotguns will have knockbacks.

hopefully i can make them drop guns and health potions only.

silly, silly me.

the reason I asked was because I was 99.9% sure that there was no way to naturally spawn monsters in grove.
and obviously, without the console, there's not.

we could spawn them in town. they will not drop loot and will not respawn unless you zone out/ logout then back in, so dungeon is better.

yeah now that I think about it you spawned them in World of Fate.
and I remember the first time I saw a jester dungeon. i was like wow.
he had a technique to make the tiles seamless but I can't remember what it was.

jester was the master in dungeon re-texturing.
bugsbunny did some nice dungeons as well .. and RTS.
derrick is the runner-up smile.gif

but yeah .. no one is doing dungeons like the old days.
to me dungeons are the best mods since we spend most of the time there.

I just can't seem to do dungeons. Of all the games I've modded (Fate, Spore, Starcraft, ...) and things I've done,
modding dungeons is just not something I'm good at.

same reason i haven't mod any but maybe when i do, i will setup a template for each type.

it's confusing though.

no.. I was talking about a past project.
I posted an image of a piece of dungeon wall but imageshack seemed to be having problems hosting it.

just a random idea for realms...but i think it would be pretty sweet to have specific realms corresponding with the new races in TS

i.e
-Forest Realm for Shadow Elves
-Volcano Realm for Cogger
-Mountain/Nomadic Realm for Orc

something along the lines of that--ugh i really need to start my own
