Ok so I have downloaded a few new game trials since last night, and the problem I am having is that once it downloads and begins to install it is still saying "finalizing" for the status. I really want to get started playing these games, but my computer has literally been on for over 24 hours and it's still not finalizing any of my new downloads. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the console, but I'm getting the same thing. How do I fix this so I can get back to playing the games? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

What is the number of games finalizing?
If I do more then 1 at one time it takes me a long time to install.

I have been having the same troubles as the original poster. But it doesn't matter ifI am doing one game or ten. Same thing happens. The games will not finalize.

I have the same problem, and I think it has to do with Vista. The console still works for launching games once they're installed, it just cannot finalize. I believe it has to do with the admin restrictions Vista has. But as mentioned earlier in this thread, you can still manually download and install the games from WildTangents website, and if you purchase, the console will do the confirmation.

I was having the same problem till I realized it was my anti-virus , I suggest you turn off the firewall and re-download the game . Do ensure you have deleted all old games which are not finalizing before u do that. Once u download the game fresh , it should not even ask you to INSTALL , it should straightaway be on 'PLAY' mode. After that you can turn your firewall back on. Avoid browsing the net and download the game via the console to prevent virus coming in ur pc. Hope this helps. Happy playing

If your talking about the console downloading new games after itsfinished downloading just press the done bar,and it go off the console and finalized with a little strip running.Patty
