Welcome to the official WildTangent Forums. These forums are a place where the WildTangent community can gather to discuss games, share their stories, and even post mods they've made for FATE™, one of our most popular titles.

In order to enjoy your experience on our forums, you should first review these basic rules and recommendations. We've prepared this document as a sort of 'first step', explaining our forum policies.

We hope these guidelines help you have a more enjoyable experience here on our forums.

----------------------------------
Forum User Conduct Rules
----------------------------------

User Conduct
We expect all forum goers to be on their best behavior. Please be respectful of your fellow forum goers, do not engage in any offensive, rude, or derogatory behavior, and as always, do not create or continue any flame wars. Participating in flame wars constitutes as offensive - please contact a moderator rather than continuing to respond.

We also ask that you follow certain rules of etiquette when using the forums. These rules include, but are not limited to:

1.)Creating threads in an incorrect forum, and
2.)"Stacking" posts - creating new posts one after the other on the same thread. Instead of doing this, we ask that you use the "edit" button to append to your original post.

Forum moderators and administrators may also refer to other, unlisted rules of "etiquette", and we expect forum users to respect these guidelines as soon as they are informed of them.

Piracy
In order to prevent piracy, we do not allow any user to post unlock codes, cracks, or any other sort of material that could be used to pirate WildTangent software.

As a result, we must also ask any legitimate user that simply wishes to share their unlock code to avoid doing so here. We cannot condone any behavior of that nature.

The Penalty
The penalty for violating these rules is elaborated upon in the post below.

----------------------------------
Notifying a Moderator
----------------------------------

Although we here at WildTangent Customer Support read each post that is made on the forums, sometimes posts do slip by. Additionally, we don't necessarily react to some conversations the way some of our forum goers do. In that regard, there is occasionally need to contact a moderator in order to request assistance, whether it be to delete an inappropriate post, get a post stickied, or just to request basic help.

There are two ways in which you should go about contacting a moderator.

First, you can Private Message either Nick C or Joe R. We're the moderators most actively in charge of maintaining the forums, so we can help with any questions you might have.

Second, you can contact our Forum-Support email by clicking the Forum-Support link at the bottom of the forum page, or by emailing forum-support@wildtangent.com directly. Please keep in mind that this email is only for directly forum related issues, or to report forum abuse. For technical support issues, you'll still need to visit our Customer Support website at www.wildgames.com/support

Consequences of Poor Conduct:

First offense:
Warning via private message and/or public post, depending on severity of offense.

Second offense:
Restricted forum privileges that may include the disabling of private messaging and/or moderator pre-approval of all posts.

Third offense:
Depending on the severity of each offense and the user's willingness to co-operate, the moderators may choose to issue further warnings or to ban the user. Bans will almost always be permanent.

To re-iterate, examples of poor conduct include: excessive or strong cursing (anything you wouldn't hear in a PG movie), harassment of others via public or private messages, and deliberately inflammatory remarks.

Exagerrated abuse may negate the need for a warning and constitute an immediate ban. Inappropriate sexual or racist material of any kind will not be tolerated.

Forum moderators will make every effort to work with reasonable users, but maintain the right to ban users at our discretion.
