holy.......c### i'm more into comedy but i dont get to see a lot either. and i haven't watched the ... censored dubs. i watch the real uncut stuff. while its usually inappropriate for younger audiences it is a lot better

I'm sorry, I was just wandering through the Fate forums for old times sake and then OH MY GOSH. SOMEONE SAID ANIME.

Yes, I watch anime. Me and my siblings tend to watch a couple hours together every night.

We just finished Aria, Gungrave, and Hi no Tori. What amazing shows.

I own Full Metal Alchemist, Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Fruits Basket, Kanon, Death Note, and just bought Place Promised In Our Early Days.

Dang it. You have fulfilled one of my dreams already. Someday I'll have a grand collection too! Lord willing! xD

Sadly, the only ones I recognize are Angelic Layer, Azumanga Daioh, Noir, Death Note, Rune Soldier, He ll Girl, Helsing, Kino's Journey, and Le Chevalier. You also have excellent tastes, it's great.

Can I ask what those other DVDs are? I can't read some of the labels.

And just curious, but what did you think of He ll Girl and Red Garden? I get a lot of mixed impressions about those shows.

I haven't finished Red Garden yet, I watched the first 16 episodes when it aired on Anime Network VOD last year, and the DVDs are still on my backlog. However, what I did watch of it, it's a very artsy type one. Slow moving (not as slow are Aria is though) with an interesting story, at least, thus far.

He ll Girl is mostly episodic and rather repetitive, but the soundtrack is just awesome (I'm a music lover).

i like her in the original Tenchi Muyo! OAV series, which ive watched all three series and 1 of the movies the OAV was the best...... but my question is why didnt they expand upon the first one and make two more series

what i liked best about the OAV was almost each episode was a center for one or more characters and thier inner demons sasami included but if youve not seen the series im not going to ruin it for you.

you can now guess who my favorite char is by now. at least i hope to see her in a sailormoonesque fashion ticks me off

Nah, it has nothing really to do with Pretty Sammy OVA, though the chatacters do stem from that spinoff and the Tenchi Muyo universe overall.

A little warning.

If you ever plan to watch Akira, read the comic first.

They squashed other half of the comic in to 5 minutes in that movie, and darned it was great idea in that comic what was happening there.

You will spoil great comic reading experience by watching Akira movie first instead of reading all was it 12 comic books of Akira first.

Strange they didnt take the end from Comic to the movie too, it had been effective ending in movie the one they had on comic book.


Serie i havent seen much mentioned that i found funny was Sumomo mo mo mo (something like that, lots of "mo"s in name)

It was about first seven episodes that were good and fun, and then rest less than 20 episodes werent worth watching anymore.

So at point you notice episodes start to become boring, just stop watching. Its not getting any better anymore.
