Hello anyone who is having problems with Escape from Paradise 2. Every time I played the game it would crash after 30-90 minutes of playing it yet I had no other problems with it. Furthermore it disappeared as if my trial was over because the time expired. WildTangent doesn't time the free trials though so I came here and saw others had problems and did what I was told and contacted the support team. They seem convinced that I was having a display problem even though I told them I wasn't since the game was acting properly but would just disappear all of a sudden. Then they said I didn't have enough memory and my graphics card could sometimes cause problems with games but when I downloaded the game it said I met the requirements. The only fix they gave me was to keeping opening up the game (using my wild coins since they won't give me my free trials back) and do so without any other startup programs running on my computer and then start adding them back (opening the game again and again) until I find the one that is causing the problem. Yeah so my solution was to go check out Big Fish they have the requirements listed at 256mb and guess what the game worked just fine! It did however disappear just like it did with WildTangent but only when the 60 minute trial was over. Either WildTangent doesn't know what's going on with this game or they are starting to limit the duration of free trials. Anyone else get any help from them? Was it useful or was nothing solved? Hope everyone has a nice day.

Hope everyone has a nice day. I did not try Escape from Paradise 2, however, I played another game demo today and it kept closing on me after about 25-30 minutes of gameplay. I certainly hope they have not changed the policy on demo trials. From what I have read on the forums today it appears many others are having the same issue with various games "crashing" or playing only a short time before going to the "buy now" screen. Very disappointing. I bought the membership to this site because the demos ran longer. I used to be a Real Arcade player and switched because Real Arcade only allows 30 minute demos. By the time you watched cutscenes and learned your way around a game it would shut off. I fear that this site may be adopting the same time limit policy. I hope it's just a bug and it will be worked out soon. Otherwise I will just subscribe elsewhere. I love this site, too. I hope it's corrected soon and not a permanent change. Bottom line... no... you are not alone... and it is an issue they need to know about, or at least post an anouncement if the policy on demo times has changed. It's quite frustrating to search the forums and see no official response on the issue with resolution. |
